Which State Are You In?

Programs and providers vary by state, so we'll show you what's actually available where you live.

⚠️ A quick, important note: you may have heard of a federal program called the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). That program ended in 2024 and is no longer available, no matter what an older website might say. The programs below are the ones actually active today.
The Lifeline Program

Lifeline is a federal program that's been running since 1985, so it's stable and not going anywhere soon. It gives eligible households a discount of up to $9.25 a month on a phone or internet bill.

Am I eligible?
You likely qualify if your household income is at or below 135% of the federal poverty guidelines, or if you (or someone in your household) already receive Medicaid, SNAP, SSI, or certain other assistance programs.

Help Getting a Device

If affording a computer or tablet is the bigger hurdle, refurbished-device nonprofits can help, often for far less than a new device would cost.
